Evening Classes

We regularly run competitively priced, fun and informative evening classes for adults. We currently offer two types of classes; one introduces a variety of hand building and decorating techniques for working with clay in a sculptural way, while the other focuses on throwing (that is, working on the potter's wheel). For more information, choose either 'Hand Building and Sculpture' or 'Throwing for Beginners' from the menu on the left hand side.

Whether you are a beginner who would like to try something different and relaxing, or you are an experienced artist who would like to learn a new medium or technique, our classes are for you. All classes taught by practicing professional artists with many years experience. For more details select the class you are interested in from the left hand side menu.

One Day Workshops

Themed one day workshops run on an occasional basis throughout the year. They are usually scheduled on a Saturday and allow between 4 to 6 hours (depending on the workshop) to explore a single working technique under the expert tuition of one of our professional artists. One Day Workshops currently available are the One Day Throwing Workshop run by Louise McVeyMaking a Head in Clay from Life run by Bruno Gallagher as well as Mould Making and Casting run by Kevin Morris. One Day Workshops are advertised on our home page every time they are scheduled, and if you would like to be apprised when a particular workshop is coming up, please contact the respective artists directly, (check out the link to their workshop in the menu on the left hand side) or call the studio on 0141 550 8030.

Team Building

We also offer individually tailored Corporate Team Building sessions. Choose from a variety of fun group activities and projects which will not only leave an impression and give your group plenty of opportunity to have a good laugh together but also give everyone something to take away with them.

Private Workshops

Private workshops are individually taylored sessions designed specifically to meet the needs of the client group. The focus is on delivering a short, simple and fun project which can be completed during the desired time. Workshops can be booked for adults and/or children, clubs, societies and special needs groups. For example, we recently held a one and a half hour box building workshop for P7 children from a local primary school. Work made during the session is ready for collection within two to three weeks.

Workshop projects can be requested or you can choose from a variety of suggestions we already have prepared for you. Apart from hand building projects, we offer Pottery Taster Sessions, which are two hour private workshops that give you a chance to try your hand at making something on the potter's wheel.

Workshops can be held at your premises or in our studio. If you would like to book a workshop with us, please call the studio on 0141 550 8030.
